I got a few ideas for updates, 1) make high speed mode toggle-able, that way you can play high speed easy, medium, and hard mode. 2) add a togglable unlimited mode (with an endless amount of floors) that way you can see how long you can last, and you dont have to end your game at the 100th floor.

I'm glad there is now a HTML5 version of this game. However, I find I cannot play the game, as whenever I click both mouse buttons to clear tiles around a solved space, the game increases in size (zooms in) and no longer recognizes the correct location of the mouse cursor. Has anyone else had this issue?

The thing most programmers hate the most is when people come along and try to say "oh, it should only be a few lines of coding", or at least act that way. Even if it *is* just a line of coding, you'd have to test it under all possible variables to make sure there are no unwanted glitches - every pixel on the game, every combination of elements from any direction, etc. etc.

It's called humouring. No, I've long accepted that people don't like it. I don't care if you can't use your brain. What I don't like is how everyone keeps complaining and thinks they can tell the people who actually know how to program... how to program. There's a reason Ha55ii added Mine Tower and that's so he can slow down the pressure of updating SR and PG. Like I've constantly said before, the more you add to a game, the more restricted it becomes. I mean, just PG, to add a new element, he has to think of something that hasn't been made and isn't just a copy of something else (like pretty much every single idea people make) or completely unplausible/stupid, then he has to come up with, make a code for, and test every single possible reaction to make sure nothing's buggy. It's several hours of work that he, a Japanese Hige-school-age kid, has to give up every week. Adding MT relieves the pressure because it's easier to update since it's new. Remember that he's doing this for free, the only money he gets is from ad-revenue, which is fairly miniscule. PG and SR are already way past ver5.0. Most games wouldn't pass ver1.1. You guys should be happy *any* of the games have come this far.

Capitalizing Random Words like "Ye Olde English" hurts my Eyes. Stop It. Did I say "people"? Whoops. The counter counts refreshing the site, too. Let's say everybody refreshes the site 10 times a day. Based on the count for every day, there are around 50000 regular visitors plus some (I believe around 500-1000) one-time visitors. Some people get interested and become regular visitors, and if they like puzzle games, they are more chances for them to become regular.

But DON'T try to act like your opinion is the only right one and try to convince other people not to play it. It is your OPINION. Personally, I want PG to update as much as some other people on this site. That being said, I think that this game, as some have said, is a wonderful rendition of a classic, adding pressure to an already fun logic game. I'm guessing the updates are done when the creative urge strikes for any given game, not in a particular order., SR just had a million things that could be added in, so they continue to be added. PG has a smaller number of interesting and unique particles possible, so there are fewer updates. That said, I love PG, am not into SR, and don't get all angry when Sr gets an update. The world doesn't revolve around me, and I understand that.

There are a few ways this game can be updated. 1) Difficulty (speed, width, mine density) 2) Other modes (triangles, hexes) 3) High scores I like this game but it's way too slow until floor 50 for me. I'd like a +.02 speed increase every floor instead of +1 every 50.

So, the numbers are correct, but there are SEVERAL things that point at it... It's hard to explain what I'm talking about.

Unlike the original minesweeper, this game lies about the numbering. Sometimes it seems like the mines are at one spot, and by what the numbers say, it's true. However, it will turn out that the mines are in ANOTHER spot... And if you mess up once, you actually lose for good...

I don't know, this game seemed a bit too easy for my tastes. I made it all the way to 200F with only a few stupid errors, and often found myself rushing the game because it scrolled too slowly for me most of the time. Getting to the top seemed really long and tedious too, and I really don't feel like doing it again "just to improve my time". I also don't quite understand HOW this game can be updated (short from multiple difficulties/sizes, an endless mode, and maybe a high score table) without pretty much changing the game completely. Maybe it's going to go the way of Earth Editor or Font Game and just get a few updates before it's dropped completely...

no one complained when Ha55ii "ripped off" falling sand game with Powder. why? because he made it innovative with wind, same with Mine tower, creestab.

Me :) But I've never published one - they're too buggy... Ha55ii made a somewhat bad choice. Most "people" here are dumb 5-year-olds with no idea about minesweeper. Not every game is meant to be FUN. It's a puzzle game, you must utilize some simple rules and not just click on random squares. Also, there's not always a logical solution, sometimes you have to guess. MT lets you miss some squares for a time penalty, adding a second bonus to the classical Minesweeper. Xyzzy doesn't work... :(

i liked this game. you like it if you like minesweeper. it's nice to be able make mistakes. i even wanted to find mine at the begining of the game.it gets faster later.

This update is to be honest just stupid. Id rather have a powder game or even stick ranger update than a slightly altered version of a game that is already on everyones computer. Even though this site is free peoples opinions should still be considered if that doesnt happen then the site will steadily get worse (what its doing right now.)

So, this game's a minesweeper rip-off? Why Ha55ii, why? We already have 12 games, we don't need 13. Seriously updates to the site are getting dumber and dumber.

HOW TO PLAY "Mine Tower": if your unsure with anything i say here go to your start button... all programs...games...minesweeper...and go to help....then click view help. TIPS: if theres a one on a corner like so 1 1 1 ? then that 1 is ajacent to only one ? (a ? is a unclicked square) if it is only ajacent to one ? it must be a mine so right click on that hidden square. Well done thats your first mine found! If a 3 is on a wall like so ? 3 ? ? then it must be all mines because if a number is ajacent to the same number of hidden quares and its ajacent to nothing else (blank squares) Ajacent: if the square is close to other squares like so ? ? ? ? 3 ? ? ? ? only 3 of the ?'s are mines and only the ?'s surrounded by the 3 are affected by the threeis they are not surounded by the number then they are not connected to the number but if they are surounding a different number they are surrounded by that number. again if theres anything your unsure with go to minesweeper and go to help. You know Lordman Powder Game was built 2007 and Stick Ranger 2009 and yet Stick ranger goes from 1.0 up, up, up, up, up, up, up, and, up! Powder Game before did that until SR made the pattern Pg sr sr sr Pg sr sr! I think it should be more like right now pg 10.0 and sr 2.7.

discovered a bug.. when you click on a bomb wich you already clicked on (a mistake) the screen goes down again.. sometimes i do this by accient, and if i dont have much time left, i could go game over...

this is way too hard for me XD maybe add things like difficulity's?

to be honest, i really dont like this game, but i'd like to see hte updates.

I don't think minesweeper is on every computer, macintosh and linux don't have it by default, as far as I know. this is more of a thinking game I'm not calling anyone stupid, but most of dan-balls players are not going to enjoy this because its not graphically inclined, you have to think about what numbers and location, rather then throw stick men into enemies, or make explosions. I don't care for minesweeper, but this is a great concept, it reminds me of tetris in a way.

I like this version but everywhere I look there is minesweeper. To the left and right and up and down there is some kind of variation of minesweeper. But there is a pro to this game. It will attract more people to the site convincing them to play PG or SR. Kudos to Ha55ii for this advertisement.

It's like any number-based puzzle game, the mines are set in such a way that there's only one way the numbers they surround can work. If you're not mathematically inclined (which might just be everyone here, tbqh) then you won't find much fun in this.

I don' understand the new game well anyways. And I've never liked minesweeper, the numbers never seem to be accurate and it's too easy to mess up...

iLol at these SR fans. This is quite an interesting take on minesweeper, and could turn into quite an interesting mini-game.

ha55ii I know you probally wont view this but, why did you add this game? In my personal opinion, this is not one of your best games. I would have preferred Stick Ranger or Powder Game to be updated.

Cell of figure indicates number of land mine that exist in surrounding 8 cells. It can be marked by right-clicking, "Blank > Flag > ? > Blank". When land mine is clicked, penalty is imposed. Please specify land mine getting a hint from figure, and expand the safety zone. When cell of unclick without land mine comes below, it is game over.
